11 on the BST north.  I'm pretty powered down and the legs are heeaavvy from Saturday's snow slog.  Took it easy and just cruised, not that I had alot of choice since apparently someone unlocked the gate on the mountain bike pen, stopped counting at 25 (no kidding).  Looks like the days of having that trail all to myself are gone for a while. Looking forward to a few easy days.

I have a question for you; how come you don't track your miles other than in your notes? You've probably explained this before and I missed it.

Bryce - I hit that trail at 7:00 this morning - no one but me and BigFoot. What time did you head out...We'll have to head out one of these times.

Me and every mountain biker and thug with a pit bull in Ogden were out on Monday PM about 5:30-7:00. I'm ready to switch to AM runs, lets get out. One of us needs to call HD and get the other's number. soon. You doing Squaw for sure? I saw you and chad on the list. How 'bout step'en up to the 50 mile at buffalo? I'm on the fence.

Jun, no real reason other than I dont really track them that closely anyway. I used to run with a Garmin full time, but got way to obessive about the numbers. I know enough about the local routes from those days to get a good guess at miles, but generally I just track time and have an idea of mileage (I try no to pad 'em too much :))I getting pretty good at estimatiing though, I ran with a buddy last week on a trail route that I was guessing mileage on at 11, he had a watch and it ended up being 10.80. That said, when I get really curious about a new route, I'll take the Garmin, but I perfer the cheap timex or nothing at all. Long explanation for what amounts to my general laziness. :)

Ha.. I need to tackle the 50k first my friend. You should go for the 50 mile though - you are in good form. Yep...Planning on Squaw - that's the one I'm shooting for - you better get in!! I'll give you a call.

bryce, I can respect that, for sure. I try not to care too much. What I like most about my garmin is the map and the ability to know where I've been. That is fun to me.

You asked me in another response somewhere if i was going to run Buffalo. The answer is no. No money. I will be out there though to pace Twinkies for the last 17 miles of his 50 miler. If you see me you should say hi. I'm the bald one and will probably be wearing a red or orange top.

It's always nice to have the trails to ourselves... before the bikers tear it up.
