36:19 ==> 8:21 per mile. Two loops around Carondolet subdivision, up Shenandoah to Ford and then down Davis. I felt pretty bad this morning. My throat is a little sore, meaning a cold is probably coming on. Also I am stiff in weird places (stomach, quads) from basketball Tuesday night, and my calves are stiff from my calf exercises.

I've been getting some of the same sickness kind of issues, which has made some days pretty tough. Yesterday, I ran with someone which helped me not think as much about the sick-fatigue.

That's a good pace for recovery runs. Of course, it will get faster as you get faster but you might want to consider in the future after running strong 7:00 mile pace to run a slower 8 - 8:30 pace recovery the next day (just like the pace you've been running the last couple of days). You'll be less likely to get injured and in time your body will be able to handle even more.

Just some thoughts.

Yes, you're right, I should do more of this.
