I came in 8th in female half marathon with 39.37 6 mile 6:37 net pace, and 1.26.02 6:34 net pace. Although this was 3 minute sslower than last year, I was happy with my performance because I had been sick the week before and unable to get sleep due to school obligations. I also worked on pacing myself better, and held back for the first 10 miles of the pace. I know I can push myself harder on the next race, so I will pace myself again but slightly faster which will help cut down on the time. After the race I felt great and was not sore at all!
