Tempo run on the treadmill. Two miles for warm up. Then cranked the incline up to four percent and set the speed at eight mph for the first 1.5 miles. Heart rate was getting over 165 so I lowered the speed to 7.8 mph over the next two miles. Finished the last 1.5 miles at around 7.7 mph. No bear issues. Very sweaty, but felt very good. Solid form, legs felt fine and lungs were good. |
