This was a 10K race simulation workout. Two miles for warm up, then 2 x 5K with a two-minute jog in between. Failed to start the watch at the beginning of the first run. Best guess is right at 40 minutes total for the 10K. Hot and somewhat humid with bright sun, a little wind at times. Two miles for cool down. Legs felt a bit heavy and tight to start, but loosened up. I think I still don't have the spring back after my 20-miler with fast finish the previous Monday. Still, good sign to hit 40 minutes for a 10K in a time trial. |
