PM - easy 6.0 miles to shake out yesterday's workout - but the heat index was still over 100 at 7 pm - so it was not a very comfortable run.

AM - easy 4 miles before the sun was up and followng a rain shower - though still quite muggy despite the rain. 

PM  - lunchtime - 7.0 miles on the treadmill - feeling a little fatigued, but not too bad.

PM - on the treadmill - good workout: 2 mile warm up then 2 x 15 mins at 6:25 pace with 3 min rest then 10 mins at 6:25 pace, then a 2 mile cool down. A little bit tired this evening, so I did not feel as strong on this workout as I did on Saturday - but still got through it.

AM - 5.0 miles easy - shake-out run.  Less humid this morning, made for a reasonably pleasant run.  Noticing some hip pain over the last few days, more on the left than the right.  May be some bursitis - perhaps from the Woodway treadmill that I used for Saturday's long run/workout and again last night.  Will try some hip strengthening exercises and stretches and keep an eye on it.  Will also try to limit treadmill running for a few days.

 

PM - lunchtime run outside 7.0 miles.  Muggy and warm, but overcast, so it was actually not too bad.  No hip pain while running either.  Did a few stretches and exercises and used the foam roller after the run.

PM - 7.0 miles easy in a light rain during Delaney's soccer practice.  Took the morning run off to try to rest the soreness in my hip - and had a busy workday which caused me to a miss a lunchtime run.  Came close to taking a zero today, but glad to have gotten a run in as a stress reliever.  No hip pain while running.  Little stiff about an hour afterwards.

PM - 10 decent miles outside in the heat at lunchtime.

PM -- Plan was to do 10 to 12 at marathon race pace on the treadmill but time was short between Delaney's soccer tournament games so I kept it to 10 with a warm up and cool down.   Actually was not feeling that great so I am not sure if I would have pushed through for another two even if I had time.
