PM - 10 miles after work on a hot afternoon.  Not too humid.  Tripped and fell scraping up my arm and knee.  (Jason should be pleased that others fall too -- though I think he calls them "diggers"). It was a pretty well executed tumble as I rolled over onto the grass and popped back up and was on my way.  No real harm done.

Glad to see you have mastered the tuck and roll! I hit the same exact spots every time. I have two bruise-like scares on the outside of my hip that look like gun shots.

I assumed that "digger" was universally American, but maybe not. In Maine they might say something like "I took a wicked hahd [hard] diggah, guy!"

Be careful out there.

Being a hard charging former infantry officer, I'm thoroughly trained in the "combat roll" which I usually manage to successfully employ on my frequent falls.

I got a long email from Bill Loucks today. He grows blueberries and builds cabinets up in Brooksville.

Oh wait, it's down in Brooksville now. Forgot.

Jason - funny you mentioned hitting the same spot twice - I nearly tumbled again this morning in almost the same spot too!

Rob - seems like Loucks was building cabinets from the time he got out of school. Glad to see he's branched out to growing blueberries. Hope he's doing well. Pass along a "hello" for me next time you correspond with him.
