AM - 4 miles easy.  Definitely got something going on with the left foot - seems more localized to the third metatarsal after yesterday evening's run.  Not pronounced pain, but it has got my attention.  Will keep an eye on it and rest if necessary.

It might be prudent to go and have somebody look at it. Quite often, these things aren't much - niggles etc. But if it is something that needs sorting, it's best to get in there quick and have it checked. I hope it's ok.

The shop in the UK emailed me to say, after I ordered two pairs of Nimbuster 13's, that they're out of stock. Don't know what to do. I'm not going to buy another pair of 14's - too risky. Might have to try something different...

Stick to the "is this stupid" test for a couple days... definitely don't force anything and be careful. Missing a workout or a few runs won't kill you, but letting this thing blow up right now would be bad.

But you already know that :-)

Thanks gents. Will use the Jake test - and proceed accordingly.

Yeah, rest!

Sorry I forgot to tell you I had a meet until late. I'll call tomorrow.
