AM - 8.5 miles recovery run.  After my long run yesterday and the heavens opened with a thrashing of a storm - I headed up to Gainesville to move my 2 daughters into their respective rooms at UF.  Riley had actually already gotten moved in with her mom on Friday while I had to work, but they had a few odds and ends to finish up on her dorm on Saturday.  Bradlea needed to have us get her things into her apartment today  when it was first available - which of course happened during a monsoon.  Really heavy rains all afternoon and evening which made for a hard drive home this evening.  So, two away, and the "little one" - starts her junior year in high school tomorrow.

Oh yeah - the run was pretty good.  In the dark down some country roads in Gainesville - would have done more if I had time.  Of course no time for a second workout today.

We had a little caravan to Gatorville as well - saw 4 accidents between Lake City and the Williston exit - nasty rain today. Got Cynda moved in off campus too - serious upgrade in accommodations and a bit of a break in cost. No running for me today... plenty of driving and eating as cross training.

I bet it'll feel odd about the house with your two eldest 'away' and just the 'little one' left.

I think when my two get to that age, I'll be taking some sort of course at their university - so that I can keep an eye on them and chase away any young men.

Doug - nice cross-training! Was wondering if you may be about the town in G'ville yesterday. We should have planned another run together on the trails! Agree with your comment about the accommodations - I think Bradlea's place is as nice or nicer than my first apartment when I first got married. Times sure have changed.

Bam - you should probably start looking at university courses now - the time passes very quickly; before you know it they will be off to school.
