8.00 miles at lunchtime - two and a half times around the Feathersound loop.  It had rained off and on for much of the morning so it was not quite as hot as it might have been.  Ran a steady pace, increased speed slightly each mile split.  Averaged 7:40 per mile.  Not too fast but good up-tempo recovery run.

I, and Rob actually, used to work on 43rd St, and Lisa and I lived at Pelican Landings apts in Feather Sound - went condo a few years back... The Club something something. Lisa and I used to bike around the then-vacant roads of Carillon Park. Sheesh, 20 years ago!

Yeah, that's back when I used to sniff gasoline for a living.Seriously, I'd drop a plastic tube into a well next to an underground petrolium storage tank and stiff the water for evidence of leakage into the groundrater. I would do that at literally every Texaco station in the state of Florida.

Doug got me the job and "trained" me. Good times! We did have a lot of fun after work and there was occasionally even some drinking during work hours. Almost like Mad Men.

I need to stop now.

Sniff, not stiff.

LOL! - good stuff guys. Can just see you in a suit and fedora testing the water with one hand and a cigarette and a martini in the other hand.
