AM - so I was thinking of taking the day off with no running - but I awoke with a lot less tightness and so I did a little stretching and used the "stick" for a bit and thought, maybe a short run to test things.  Surprisingly very little to no tightness and no pain at all.  Had a relatively normal feeling run.  No instability or weakness that I realized I was experiencing from time to time.  Weird.  6 miles of  pleasant running.

Wow - all you had to do was THINK about taking the day off and your body responded - good deal. It knew you needed some pleasant miles to refocus.

By the way, look quick at the mileage board and you'll see I'm currently crushing you for the week!!

Funny - I rarely look at the board and was surprised to see me... if only for a day. I'll fade back away in the next couple days. 40-50 miles/wk will do nicely for me for a while.
