Final leg turnover workout before race on Sunday.  1.5 mile warm up and then 4 x 400 at 5:50 ppm with 1:20 recovery and then 2 x 200 at 40 with 50 second rest.  On the treadmill at 1% grade - 1.5 mile cool down.  Felt very good - relaxed  and strong.  If the race was today on the treadmill, it would have gone very well.  :)

And as long as it was 4 miles or so eh? I guess I've missed your plan - what/where are you racing? Good Luck, whatever and wherever 'tis!

Hey Doug - yeah, exactly!

I am doing a marathon in Athens Ohio. A relatively small event compared to NYC and others - but it has been around for 44 years. Had good reviews - and looks to be reasonably fast and well organized. Why? Well, it met may rather specific criteria: same time zone, not at altitude, flat, weather likely under 60 degrees, before May.

Everything looks good to me Bret. Have fun.
