Ran in Panguitch passed the dump. Oh yeah. I'm not sure how far, but my left leg is starting to really hurt, even when I do stretch after every run.

Ran a backwards Maverik run. I could tell a day off from running helped my leg, it felt a bit better. I was able to run with Makayla and Brayden for a little.

During warm ups I stepped on some kind of thorn, but the pain didn't just hurt where the thorn was it was my whole foot to the point where I could hardly move my foot to walk. So I sat out for practice today and I was able to move it better.When I got home I found that the whole part had swelled even more. Dang, today was just not my day.

After taking about a week off, I felt REALLY slow. These next few weeks I'll be working on pacing myself with the girls that are faster than me for a longer period of time. It was a really fun run though, I got to run with Liz, we saw two coyotes, at least I think they were coyotes, and almost got hit by a car at the round about. Haha, Liz, you're awesome!

Today's was really hard. I ran with Makayla, Kaelie, Aubrey, and Liz for four miles. I regrettably started walking when we were at the parking lot. Only did four striders. Not too happy with myself today.

Today was a great run! I thought that would only be able to do about three miles since I hardly ran at all last week. Yes, it was long and my legs felt ubber jelloish, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. A diesel scared the living day lights out of Liz and I on the way back, we were laughing so hard we had trouble getting our breathing and heart rate back to normal. Awesome run!

I reached one of my short term goals! Woohoo! Missed warm up today because I went to the elementary school before. But we ran to washington fields, stayed with the level two girl's for more than half the time. Sure my legs felt really tired afterward, but my stomach didn't start hurting until toward the end. I can almost say I'm a level two!

Ran with level two girls and really felt that 7 miles yesterday come back to haunt me. I talked to my dad, who is a P.A., and he says that I'm really low in electrolights, and some other things. My pains in my stomach area are actually my muscles spazing out from being so low in nutrition. I'm really hoping that this race will be okay. After practice I did striders then ran home which adds up to another 1.5 miles.

My first race and I did horrible. The stress that I felt did not help at all and fell behind the group pretty much at the beginning. Am I supposed to feel like I need to throw up? I often feel like that during practice, but it's not too bad. I still felt really tired but, does this mean that I didn't push myself hard enough? What can I do at practice since the girls that I normally run with are much faster than me during races?

Don't worry too much, it was your first time. Races always hurt, you just gotta push as hard as you can. Try setting a goal before you race like a time you want to finish in. Then if you race with a watch that has a timer you can kinda keep track of how much faster you need to go to get your goal. Nice job!
