Warmed up and did 6x800m at 5k pace with a 400m at mile pace at the end, 2 mins between each rep. Splits were 2:44, 2:41, 2:43, 2:39, 2:44, 2:39, 70. Felt pretty good today. I'll try this workout again with 8 800m reps in a couple weeks. I think I could have made it to 8 reps today but I didn't want to push too hard- and I wanted to get some faster turnover. I also did a couple strides on the way home. |
