So hot today, over 90 degrees for my run. I hot tubbed before too so my body was already extra hot. I stopped for water in the rec center to make sure I didn't overheat. Also I ran a mile and a half on the road to get home, my ankle is complaining a little bit but its pretty good! It was mostly all downhill which I thought would be good, I think downhill is easier than up for my Achilles. Tomorrow could be anything from a rest day to a 7 mile day depending on how my ankles feel over the next day. But I would like to have do an 8 mile run next week. If my ankles feel good the whole week maybe I could even make 50 miles, but I'd say 40 miles is my goal. If I can average 7 miles per day and run 6-7 days of the week. But that's very optimistic. If my ankle feels good every day that will happen. |
