Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.

Warmed up 2 miles and then ran the Utah Open 8k. It was a lot of fun but I am not in shape for a race like this. My goal was not to take bottom 5 and succeeded there. Had a sprint finish with some kid from the college of southern Idaho... Averaged like 6:15 for 5.1 miles on a pretty tough sugarhouse course. They had us go up the big opening hill from state 3 times. Hopefully next year I can average 5:45 or better at this race.

Whitney hung out with Kiley and Jake's kids and my dad, it was fun to see them all playing together- sugarhouse has a great playground. Played some pickleball with my dad later.

Nice to be back in Utah, finally starting to get settled now that I have a house.
