Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.

3rd in my local 5k, not much faster than last year though. I was stuck in no man's land pretty much the whole race, pace didn't feel easy but maybe could have run faster-, especially if I didn't have all those short steep hills in my legs from the first 1.5 miles.

Cooled down with some cool guys who finished 2nd and 4th, learned about some other races to run this summer- which is good because I need to get into a fast race and run a better time. Even like a 17:30 would be refreshing at this point haha. On the other hand I ran 19:05 today and the guy who took 4th in like 19:40 just graduated high school and has run 16:40 for 5k on the track and 4:42 for 1600m this spring. The guys who took 1st and 2nd in like 17:30 are a 1:10 half marathoner and a college runner... so I'm not doing terribly.
