60 minute run on the TM. Through 2 miles in @ 6 min pace and 5:56. Wanted to go longer but not going to lie I started to feel the ITB a little bit. So definitely need to watch things and listen to the body.

Good run for me and good to get back into things.

Avg pace today 6:55 min/miles

Great week Ben. You may need to back off the miles more this coming week if it is starting to bother you again.

Matt I agree for sure. The pain wasn't bad but definitely noticeable. I sort of feel my left ITB coming on a little maybe from compensating so much from having the right ITB hurt for so long. Any ideas?

I agree the left ITB could be from compensating. Here are a few suggestions (you might be doing all of these already): make sure you are using the lateral heel wedges in both shoes, stretch both IT Bands and Quads like crazy (probably the most important treatment), deep tissue massage to both IT Bands and Quads every other day, continue the naproxen, ice 2-3 times per day, make sure your running shoes are not too old, avoid the temptation to advance training too quickly, and supplement with cross training for now. And you can call, text, or blog me anytime.

Thanks. I will definitely due more of these things and I will take it a little more easier in this upcoming week. Great run for you guys today though!
