Attended Japanese high school and finished in March 2020. Was very lucky to be able to be a member of a very good team of runners at my high school, even though I was injured most of the time and was not able to be much of a contributor. Am currently doing an Engineering internship at a large manufacturer of Automotive transmissions, etc. It is really exciting. In spring of 2021, if COVID-19 has subsided, I am planning to serve an LDS mission, after which I plan to go to college and study Engineering.

10 miles easy with some fast sprinting spurts mixed in.

Has been a really good week of running. I was able to do a better recovery on recovery days this week. I am not as tired as I was at the end of last week. I feel much more rested. My hard days were able to be hard, which has left me with some calf, hamstring and glute soreness, but a nice rest tomorrow should be good for that.

PM: 5 mile walk

there's something super satisfying about getting sore from running, in a sort of sadistic way. it's how you know you're getting stronger! keep it up Eva!

also, wonder which one of us ends up running a 100-mile week first :)

Eugene--I feel very comfortable right now at about 10 miles a day or about 60 miles a week. Instead of doing a second run in the afternoons, I have been doing a 5-mile walk which I really enjoy. I will probably stay in this range for a while at least. So I am sure you are going to get to 100 before me.

I really hope you enjoy your summer in Utah. Maybe it will be a little easier to put in 100 miles there. It shouldn't be as humid.
