ran 5.55 miles in the am. did turkington falls loop out and back.

ran in the dark after work, did 3 with brother. we started at a good pace but on the way back going up the big hills my bro had to slow down a bit. after he recovered and i decided to challenge him 0.15 miles away from home, the minimum distance i feel confident i can out kick him. i need 0.1 miles just to loosen up. if i go more than 90% to start i'm going to pull something because i'm so ridiculously inflexible right now. no one i have ever come across that's not over 80 is worse than i am. anyways i get an early lead on him and push it 90% up the 10ft hill. after halfway to the end of the road my brother gains on me and takes a half stride length lead. i was actually nervous and decide i need to go up to 95%. i pull even and decide to go all out. i start to pull away barely and win, almost running right in front of a car since i couldn't stop myself with all the momentum. my brother claims he slowed down because of the car but a win is a win. he has yet to beat me when it has been a real challenge. i won't challenge him after the hill. ran another 1.6 out and back on whortleberry. the full moon or close to full moon actually made it not that dark.
