kristin ran her first 5k in east haven ct. her goal was to break 30 min and she ran 28:59 on an unbelievably flat course. The winning time was only 17:40 and the conditions were perfect. 2nd place was only 18:30 or something. i did actually come in 91st place with a time of 28:59 :)

ran at terre haute in the afternoon 8.6 miles for 1hr 50 mins exploring some trails that i had taken in the past that didn't really go anywhere and reconfirmed how much they sucked.

OMG no you didnt. Im never talking to you again. This is only acceptable if you can have her running sub 21 within a year or so. Otherwise you shouldnt be dating her in the first place. And you DEFINITELY shouldnt be sandbagging what should be a 5k win for you to run with her.

i guess only time will tell :)

i think i can get her down to sub 25 min no problem but sub 21 will be tough unless she has desire.

it would have been great beating all these 16 y.o. h.s. kids that would have crushed me in the past. i probably would have barely broken 18 if i was lucky since i have not raced or done any speed lately.

perfect pr course for sure though.
