am - slept in and ran a great out and back out in the fields in Spanish Fork. Calf sore. Took it easy but then loosened up and ran some strides at the end. 7:10

pm - easy 5 on the grass loops out at the sports park. 7:45

I got rid of 5 pairs of shoes today that are dead that I figure I really shouldn't be running in anymore. They all have well over 400 miles except the Virratas that were done after 300.

nice double Frankenstein...I like the spring closet cleaning too. That sucks you only got 300 miles on the virratas. I was just told to get some of those...yeah or neah?

I love them Spencer. I ran Boston in them. Great shoe. Just not much outsole so plan on less miles.

Very rarely do I get any type of Asics or Saucony shoe to last me more than 350 miles. I like both brands a lot but I just don't get too many miles out of them before my knees start to ache.

Adidas has lasted into the 500s and they are decent shoes, but I don't like them quite as much as Asics or Saucony. Mizuno I got like 400, but I liked them the least of any brand.

I'm not quite sure yet how many miles I'll get on my Pearl Izumis, so stay tuned.
