In May 2010 I was large and started running. Now I'm much smaller :), -63 lbs.

Merge road and trail running and adventure run bonkers.

Sub 2:30 marathon. Run my best at distances from half marathon to 100 miles.

 3 mile warm up. 400, 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 1200, 800, 400, 400 easy cool down. Dialed it back today to make sure i finished strong. This felt good. 78, 76, 2:43, 4:12, 5:45, 4:06, 2:36, 73, 68. Recoveries were 400s except after the 1200s and 1600, those recoveries were 800. 7:45 pace on the way up, 7:30 pace on the way back down. Fun workout. Didn't feel strained and left some in the tank. Now if i race on the 4th i should be ready. 6:36

Awesome workout Brandon! I think the conservative start and huge negative split proves that you are doing things right and are in really good shape.

Come down to Payson and join in on Rachelles 10k tempo race if you decide not to jump in on the 4th race madness!
