Easy 3 mile warm up on the elliptical then tried to run. I felt better the longer i went and finally just cranked out a couple of mp miles at the end (5:42). The whole thing felt easy although the start was a little awkward from not running for 4 days. I know I'm not the smartest person ever but sometimes you just have to run :).

I was able to get in to my masseuse and think it's a sore adductor/groin. I'm pretty sure it happened on the new years day run as the footing was not the best in my flats and i had quite a few slips. I will have to play it by ear and exercise care when necessary but I'm sure I'll be ok for the half next weekend. 10.2 miles in 1:05:40. 6:30ish

Great news Brandon! I thought this injury would be short-lived for you. Be careful and listen to that body. Watch out Painter's 1/2 -- Brandon is ready!

Hang in there Brandon! You are right, if you are smart today, it will pay off dividends tomorrow.

Great news Brandon - 6:30 pace over 10 for an old fella with a dodgy groin is pretty good going:) Glad you're back at it a feeling better.
