Rainy day, never really got running that fast.  I knew the group I was running in at Mile 10 was off pace for what I wanted and I was feeling good at this point but to affraid of the head wind to break away from the pack. So I sat with the group, when I hit 1:22 at the half I knew it was going to be a slow day. Oh well, you can never predict the conditions and time at this point was out the window.  Ran even both halfs and never felt like I pushed it that hard in the second half.  I know that I didn't work hard enough by my soreness.  I usually can bearly walk around the day after, but today I'm not even sore.  I could go for a run and hit 7:00 pace but will wait until tomorrow.  The racing season is over, time for some R and R and plan for next year.

Good job on the even split in the tough conditions. Thanks so much for all your help at the finish. I was all jacked up- not just physically. You really, really did some nice things and I owe you one. Thanks man!

Get some good R and R and start looking for another race like the rest of us crazy people.

Nice job Bill. You did great to break the wind for me. Thanks. Solid run.
