At work today I was walking down a ramp and at the bottom of
the ramp was very slippery and I fell, and I fell very hard. The ridge of the
ramp caught the back of my left leg and boy o boy that really hurt. I did not
go to the doctor but my wife being a nurse looked at it and told me that I had bruised
my bone. But I still wanted to run today and today was my long day of running
so I started running and my leg was feeling ok, but the back of my heel the
long skinny bone was hurting and it never went away like I was hoping for. So
instead of running my 8:40 per mile; I ran 8:27 and the only reason is because I
wanted to get it over with so I could rest my leg. Any suggestions to help me heal?
