Wow,

God does miracles!!! When I started out my first mile my leg started hurting, but I thought nothing about it and kept running. But as time kept going on and on it was getting worse and worse to the point that I was about to stop. And I kept praying and praying asking for Gods help and just when I was about to slow down, I SAW GRASS. That is what I needed, because running on grass is not as hard on my leg as cement and asphalt. As soon as I started to run on the grass my Pain went away and so every chance I had to run on grass and dirt I took it, but I did get a lot of weird looks from people cheering us on. Actually people had to move out of my way so I could keep running. But I did it!! So here are my times for the race,

1. 8:39

2. 8:32

3. 8:43

4. 8:20

5. 8:17

6. 8:18

7. 8:08

8. 8:28

9. 8:26

10. 8:28

11. 8:32

12. 8:57

13. 8:29

.29 2.33

Over all 1:52:56 with the overall pace of 8:29

Good job of the half! Looks like it's time to look to the long term goals that have suddenly become the new ones.

Way to go Barry I knew you could do it, and I was praying that you would get under 2 hours. Do some foam rolling the next few days, and take an ice bath.

Thank you for all your prayers, i could feel them when i was running. Also, GREAT job on your marathon. The winner for City of trees marathon was 2:39:32. Also, do you think i should run or take some time off?

Great race result Barry. I would rest the leg a bit and really stretch and massage it out.
