Took the day off today as my heel is really bothering me.  So, I'm trying to nurse that back into shape and at the same time try to figure out what might be the problem.  Conclusions thus far:  need to change my orthotics (this is grave) or I'm having Plantar fasciitis issues.  Found some exercises on the internet, so we shall see how things go.

Well, my heel is doing much better this morning.  This past summer my brother-in-law gave me a DVD on Chi Running.  Haven't taken the time to look at it until yesterday!  Well, I liked it.  I'm committing this week to focusing on incorporating Chi running technique.  I ran 3.24 miles this morning nice and easy focusing on keeping my spine in line and I actually felt pretty good!  I did notice that my heal wasn't hitting like it usually does and it's not hurting!  We'll see how the rest of the week goes.  AP 10:42  Splits:  11:07, 10:41, 10:22, 10:30 (.24)

nice easy run this morning.  Focused again on keeping my spine in line and just slightly leaning forward to get my momentum going.  Heel feels good.  Friend had some heel gel inserts that she's not going to use, so I gave it a go and it felt pretty good.

Attempted some 'double dutch' jump roping with the girls yesterday afternoon and the first landing on my heal skyrocketed my pain level through the sky.  Needless to say, I'm not going to run on my heel at least until Monday.  This thing needs to heal before I start seriously training for the next marathon.

Well, I have done no physical exercise today.  Feels good to rest.  Looks like it will be a calm Friday.  Maybe some rain this afternoon.  Maybe some pool time with the kids (ha...maybe I'll do some running in the pool!)  Tonight...Monk and some home made pizza!

Well, ran for about an hour and a half in the pool yesterday afternoon.  It was pretty fun.  I was actually a bit tired after wards.  My heel was hurting a bit last night, so maybe all the foot movement irritated it a bit.  Feeling OK today.  Once in a while is a bit painful if I step on it wrong.  Still hoping to start running again on Monday.
