Hey, I'm trying to gather the local east valley runners to go for a small run this Saturday morning. We're goint to meet at 5:30am at the Pei Wei's on the northwest corner of Val Vista and Baseline. Let me know if you're in.

Welcome back AZDesertMonsoon (or AZmon for short)!! Figures you would come back during monsoon season. Tucson has had a few storms but Flagstaff (where I am right now) has had rain every day for the past 5 days!! It is nice though!

What are you doing up in Flagstaff, getting some altitude training in? Do you have a race coming up? Here in Mesa the last two nights it has rained nearby, but mostly just made stuff humid here.

I am just getting away from the heat - and altitude training is an extra benefit ;-). It is 80F in Tucson right now (because of the rains!! wow!).

I don't really have any races until it cools down a little (maybe October). Then I will be training for the Houston Marathon in January (if my current work schedule will allow it ;-) ).

Keep on keeping on!! We will be living in the perfect part of the world in a few more months!! I love winter in Tucson! We moved to the Tucson Mountains and there is wildlife galore!! (and our backyard is a Saguaro forest that goes up a hillside ...).
