Smell the dirt, feel the mountain, taste the wind.
Personal:
"Our legs are tight, our feet are flying, and we are gliding over the roll of the land. The sun is up, the air is fresh, the stone is old, and we are free and at peace. The clock has stopped because another time has taken over." C. Bowden
Cold run in Milwaukee. I wanted to get 8 out of this run but just too beat up on the legs to do it. This marathon recovery is the hardest of the few I've been through.

Yes, I am still alive. I ran four miles today so I feel worthy to comment on some blogs.

Oh yeah and I don't see anyone else lined up to comment on your lame, one line blog entries.
Bring us some more philosophy, Churchill and T E Lawrence quotes, stuff like that.

Now that's the Rob I know...
I'm in survival mode, not worthy to spout wisdom, barely worthy to wear running shoes. This morning I wore a camo hunting shirt at the race that I got for elk hunting and narrowly avoided getting chicked running an 18 minute 5k.
But I am starting training and no more races until December 2.
