Why just the swimming? Does the bike hurt your hip/foot/whatever?

Shhhh... I think I hear crickets chirping on your blog.

According to facebook, Steve is now on a world class water-skiing team.

I've been a slacker here. Today is catch up day on the blog. I missed you guys! A lot of swimming, hiking, and time with the kids is pretty boring stuff to blog about. Especially to guys who take this all so serious! It's embarrassing. Now I have an ankle that I can't even fit in a shoe because it's swollen for a week. No way I'm missing TOU but I have'nt had a run over 14 miles since August 7th and I won't be able to run until race day. Could be interesting.

FB consensus from the group at Powell is that I am graceless, accident prone, and need to be happier with just going in circles on the lake. :-)

I'm swimming just because I love it. Since I can't train with intensity competitive running is out this fall. Doesn't bug me too much except I really want to run a good Twin Cities some day. I'm thinking its time to look at training for a spring marathon.

"A" spring marathon - as in "singular"? Don't get Rob's hopes up, Steve... as if you are just going to run ONE :-)

I'm calling BS. You ran 24 miles on August 7th. So saying "I haven't had a run over 14 miles in months" is not true.

I'm declaring myself the official FRB fact checker. You are starting to remind me of that dentist from Michigan.

Not sure what you are talking about. My entry is pretty specific.

I was thinking today that I could run this year what he claimed to by cheating. I have 8 so far. Just squeak in 4 more at just under three hours and I have his "huge" before cheat accomplishment.

Problem is, so what?
