16 miles early in Phoenix at 90 degrees but at least no sun in the face.  8 min pace.

4 hours of rock climbing instruction.  I am so excited to be learning this new sport (for me).  Already climbed a 5.12, two levels from highest.

10 miles late afternoon at 107 degrees.  Without a doubt the hottest I have run anything over 5 miles in.  Totally fun but had to slow to 9 min pace to deal with it.

0.2 short of a marathon and no narrative? Solid week Steve, you're getting way strong.

When I am on the road I have only my ipad and it's browser doesnt support the blog format so I cant make entries, only miles! My running has been going good, but mostly junk miles. Very slow! I can handle the mileage but I feel it in my hip if I start picking it up. I'm just happy with what I got..

That makes sense. Well your mileage has been impressive and you've adapted well to the heat it appears. I'm glad you're able to get in some decent running despite the nagging hip concern you have.

We've been missing you at the USATF LDR circuit races!
