16 miles on the Mt. Vernon Trail in Washington.  Pyramid fartlek 1-5 minutes, 50% effort on rest segments and 75% on fast ones.  Super humid and 84 degrees!

When you're running those pyramid fartleks you need to be careful when you get to the top - kind of pointy!

I ran on the Mt. Vernon Trail a couple weeks ago. Great trail, great scenery, I wish I had more time there.

Hey Steve, Ever been to Istanbul Turkey? I'm going there next week and am a little bit worried about the running conditions but it looks like it could be fun.

Cool, a WA runner. I have always had a problem finding good running trials in DC, so it's been nice to stumble on this trail.

It's for work, I'll be there almost 2 weeks. I found a guy that posted all of his runs there from about 1 year ago, looks like he had some pretty good ones. If I'm up to it, looks like I can follow the Bosphorus River all the way to the Black Sea. 20 miles round trip.
