3 miles with the dog this morning and then dropped her off and ran a 10K in Wellsville.  Super hilly course and snowing the whole run.  Good times.

1 mile easy jog after.

Supposed to get in a 20 miler later today but just too busy catching up.  Pretty frustrated at having absolutely no time to train.  I'm catching 4-5 hours of sleep a night just to stay ahead, what a week!

"Abuse or something" is a good thing to be against. Who beat you by the way?

Give me a call this afternoon. Lets talk training and Minnesota.

Oh my gooney goo goo! That is hilarious! Ah, its a race for some abuse or something. The important thing was I abused the other runners to get to 2nd place. Who the heck beat you? Or I mean abused you?

I saw a flyer at the gym for it Friday and figured it would be good to get a short fast run in. Conner beat me, that kid who finished right behind you in the Ogden Half last year, Walter. he runs with as much spirit as I have ever seen, just fun to run with. He is one of my favorite runners.

I decided this week that I was tired of the focus on mileage, and not just because I suck at getting any in right now. So I left the garmin at home and just ran. About 3 miles into the race Conner was quite a bit ahead and I realized that I don't race anymore. I run against the watch. It seemed like I didn't even know how to actually race someone. I think this marathon training destroys that part of running. I love it, but it comes at a price. I decided to try to race a bit and was closing the gap pretty good. I think I was still about 15 seconds behind him. The third place person was 4 minutes after us.

My Garmin is in the garage drawyer now and it's staying there. I'm effort training for a while. Next week is some serious mileage and I know my paces pretty good. We'll see..

I believe Connor also put in a heck of a time at TOU half last year. I will see you at Ogden.
