Easy run this morning at 8 min pace with some lifting.  Heading out for sure today on the White Pine trail for some cross country skiing.  New fresh powder in April!  Ha Ha!

Proud of my son for deciding he wanted to sacrifice two years of his teenage life to serve a service mission for the LDS church.  He's saved up a lot of money for this.  We just opened his papers and he will be living in Nashville, Tennessee after spending two months learning Spanish at the Provo MTC.

Is it standard to learn a new language, even if going to somewhere like Nashville?

Nope, this is really different. It means he will be working with Spanish speaking people only in Nashville for the next two years.

My niece Elizabeth in in Nashville and goes to Vanderbilt. I've already committed to running the Nashville Marathon with her next April. I will check on Bentley if he will promise not to convert me.

He already thinks you are like Gandhi reincarnated, like one of those guys that gets lifted up into heaven because us mortals are not worthy to have you among us. Much too intimidated...
