Ran the kids to school today in the stroller the long way, 4.3 miles.  Pretty good pace this morning.  Busy day but managed to get down to the gym after lunch for a 7X1 mile workout at around 5:45 each mile, 3 minutes jog in between with cool down and warmup.  Nice uper body lifting afterwards for 45 minutes.  The week is taking it's toll, I'm pretty much at the limit with this one today.

I start refinishing my piano today which should take me several days.  Good times...

When do you slow down and/or rest? Holy crap man!

Hey, those are pretty slow mile repeats! Just under 6 min pace with a lot of rest in between. I'm taking a chance staying off of intensity this winter.

I just mean in life...fly across the country, run EVERYWHERE, come home run with the girls, go the gym, refinish a piano...cure cancer, discover new planet, swim 5000 meters, ski down Mt. Hood, etc. You are a man on the move!

Why do you have to re-finish a piano? What's wrong with the way it was finished the first time? Can't you just accept it for what it is?

Have you seen this piano? It's one of those late 1800s grand uprights. Sweet sound, but the original finish dissapeared probably before the Russians marched on Germany. I'm pretty excited because when I'm finished it should be worth the cost of the paint stripper

and Jeff, that's good to hear. I pretty much feel like I'm not succeeding at anything right now. Just hanging on.
