Tempo run at the gym on the treadmill. Working on marathon pace. First 9 miles at 5:30 pace and last mile at 5 min pace. It's hard being at altitude again after being at sea level for 9 days! PHR 152.

Lol, whatever! Most of my runs are done at a minute or so slower than all you guys. BTW, have you tracked heart rate in any speed workouts? I am working on getting an understanding of effort versus physical capability at our age. It seems from what I have seen that in my workouts, heart rate is a lot lower than I should be targeting. But it hurts like Hell! I'm pretty certain that I'm not training at even 75%. Have you experimented with this at all?
