AM-Steady state progression run down to the JT trail and back. 1:15:48 total time. I can't believe I feel this good after yesterday. 13 miles total. PM-No run tonight. Went for a walk to think about some things. I am glad that I did my last long workout today. Back to back on these particular types of workouts are supposed to lead to increased blood volume over time. I believe that doing this at times is one of several things that has led to an increase in fitness. Now I need to really back off and trust in my fitness. As one of the chapter headings say in the book titled Running with the Buffaloes, "We believe in our fitness." Which ultimately says, we believe in ourselves. I know I do now... |
