AM-Easy 4 miles at 8/min pace. Saw Corbin Talley come into my workplace early today. Talked with him about his ultra event recently and I think he may come back to road racing the way he sounded. Nice to chat with him for a few.

That is good news about Corbin. When I saw he did the Wasatch 100 I was wondering if he might start picking it back up again.

Did he not enjoy the ultra?

Corbin can barely run a good marathon when properly trained. He is not a natural ultra runner. His best distance is somewhere between the 10 K and the half. He can extend it to the marathon with a stretch, but going beyond is like trying to specialize in 800 meters for me.
Sure, I'd much rather run just two laps around the track than a marathon. That would be more fun. Except I'd get beat by barely trained high school runners in every single meet.

I don't know about any of that, You'll have to ask him yourself I suppose. I was just glad to bump into him.
