Easy 6 miles at 7/min pace.   7th east loop.  Trying to hold back and keep a low-monotony schedule where the mileage isn't always the same every day.   Multipace training requires distinct and seperate patterns of intensity and recovery.   I always raced well when I trained this way and when I did not, I paid the price..  Headed for a 90 mile week next week!

Need to add some Powerbars or something throughout the day as I am starting to run on a low gas tank at times.  Weight dropped a bit this last week also.

It's wise to stick with what you know works best for you. Good luck in your training.

Thanks Maurine, Training going ok?

Yes, Steve. I am not where I had planned to be for Ogden back before I got injured and am not going to push it at all to allow the IT band to continue to heal - but my endurance is coming back and I am running hills again and that is making me happy.

Oh - and I finally got over my winter doldrums and have been able to eat healthy and lost 5 pounds in a week (now it will switch over to the 1-2 pounds a month).
