AM-Easy 10 mile shake out run and unfortunately this is no time to cut mileage too much.  Run time was a 7:03/average with 6x100 m hill strides both up and down.  Usual 13th and 9400s route.  A bit chilly today it seemed.

PM-Easy 6 miles on 7th.  6:46 avg pace.

Ugghh, I'm SO sick of the cold (and wind, but thankfully none this AM) as well! Felt more like a December run this morning than a March run.

Way to get out and get the miles in with some GREAT strides in there to boot!

Oh definitely Rachel, if there had been wind like yesterday it would have been the rec center shoe box track for this kid:)

Rec center shoe box track - hahaha! I'm going to have to steal that one.

Keeping focus and serious on your mileage will give you the confidence when you do race. Your fitness level will definitely be ready for the marathon.

Your doing SLC marathon right?

Kory, Big maybe.. I don't feel quite ready to pop a good one yet. If not then the half marathon for sure. Besides I'm thinking more long term this time..
