Recovery run today, I think I'm starting to make some good progress. I ran my recovery run at a good 7min/mile give or take a few seconds because of hills along the way. They say improvement comes in fits and starts sometimes. Maybe this it. I beat my course record for an easy run by 2min for 10 mi. Staying in the same heart range and even a little lower on some parts. Sometimes you just have a good day I guess. Southern Draper area. THR-65-70% mhr. Light stretching afterwards.  The inversion was better today, I could actually see the mountains for once!

Steve, thanks for the info and feedback. Good luck as you start cranking it up. I hit the 1:14 half a couple weeks ago down here at the Painter's half. Took 2nd to Hobie Call (he dusted me 1:07!). I had planned for 1:12 and really thought I could get it, but got the flu for a week before and it knocked me out pretty good. After racing I don't know if I could have quite got 1:12 flat, but maybe squeaked it below 1:13 if I hadn't been sick. Oh well, I'll give it a try next time.
