Tempo run at 10k-5k effort with the last two measured and clocked at 5:22, and 5:14. It seems like 5:20 range is almost in the semi hard range of effort. But over 13 miles I'm sure it would get pretty dang tough if not impossible right now. Still, my fitness is edging up and heart rates are reflecting it also. I just can't help but doubt myself a little right now still. Lack of confidence? I need solid data that's for sure. I guess what I need to do really is to race. 7th east Rio Loop. / 33:59 total for 6 miles with a short warm up. / Stepping back in volume this week.
