AM-Easy to medium 10 miles early this morning,  Wow what a difference a few hours makes for temps of course.  Easy 5 miles at 6:30-7:10/mile pace with 4 miles at 5:28-5:52/mile coming home.  Took a mile cool down out to the trax crossing and then stretched for a good while.

PM-No evening run.  Cutting back a some more now.

I wish I could run your paces. Great job. It's nice to have time to stretch after a run isn't it?

Nice run, your mileage and pacing is very impressive.

Bob-Yes it is for once.

Jeff-That 5:28 was going downhill. The other 3 were flat at about 5:48, 5:50 and 5:52. Then comes the wall at 21 then it's around 7-9/min/mile pace, LOL!

LOL @ your blog title. south temple is my nemesis. impressive mileage this week. are you going to taper at all?

From steve ash on Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 14:44:04 from 98.202.75.78

I am tapering...... LOL!

Seriously though Allie, I am not looking to win and I want to keep my miles up as much as I can for the fall. I'm looking more long term now and seek incremental improvements mainly. This one is going to be more of a study and practice race, especially in the areas of pacing at different points, drinking, etc.

Needless to say, I will take a step back week for sure. And if the opportunity presents itself I will definitely go for it.
