AM-15 miles easy with pickup in the 11-14 mile section. 1:42:18 total with warmup and cooldown. The wind was a little nutty today changing directions it seemed at times.

PM-5 miles easy on the trail. No time just enjoyed the run. Feeling a bit stiff and beatup still from Monday. Accumulated fatigue from last week has played a factor also. Overreaching is a tricky but effective method of training for me sometimes. However it is extremely risky and I believe it can only be employed in specific event oriented training for a short period. This is where the "art" of training comes into place. When the mind and body sync together to gather strength for a push towards the summit. Begin recovery period and taper next week with a gradual regression of 5-10 mpw.

Your training is impressive and your flat out fast. Nice work-outs. What's your next Marathon? I'm running Boston here in a few weeks.

Thanks, I just hope it works this season. Is it possible that I have seen you out on the Jordan river trail? I have decided to run the Salt lake Marathon although the final green light will be given after a course simulation this week or the next.

oops I keep hitting the enter button sorry for the double message. I ran the Salt Lake Marathon last year and loved it. I wanted to run it this year but Boston is the same week I believe. I'm shooting to run Ogden, Des News, Top of Utah, and Pocatello this year. Boston I'm shooting for a 2:55.

Pocatello does get cold, I've ran a lot of my training runs in negative degree weather. But it's starting to get better. Ricks is a good college it's really grown the last few years.
