Still with family plans. Got up early and dragged my brother and sister-in-law up to the living room. There was talk of going up to the beacons but I forget and they didn't realize the elevation effect coming from sea level. It was still a fun hike and the clouds cleared for a little to give a nice sunrise. The snow cover made for a pretty scene and it is always fun being the first on a trail with fresh snow. Afterwards another day of family fun. Including a trip up to Park City and an early birthday dinner.

| AM: Visitors or no had to go into work today. Was not feeling hot and had stomach problems on the way in... Mi 5.5 Avg. 10:07 HR 132 PM: Commute run home a little early to go out for a final dinner before the guests left. Stomach feeling better but the HR was up there.

AM: There is something with my head and knowing that I have to wake-up. I needed to be in early to work but got up almost an hour before my alarm. Laid there for awhile and then up into work before 6 AM. It was crazy windy but luckily it was to my back most of the way into work. Temperature wise I cannot believe it is mid-December. Feeling much better than Monday. Commute run in.
Mi 3 Avg. 9:45 HR 145 PM: Today was crazy busy but not as focused as I'd have liked. I pushed a little more than normal on the way way and did the A&W in reverse. Mi 6.5 Avg. 7:02 HR 159

AM: Slept in a little. Then direct commute run in. A lot of early days lately. But at least it is a good way to get a heads up on the day. As is usually the case today is going to be all meetings. Spaced just perfectly to not get much else done. We will see, I guess meetings are part of work and become a bigger part of it as you go up the food chain. Mi 2.5 Avg. 10:20 PM: Well today was a busy one. Hard to get the work I need done done... But finding that balance is what it is all about, in work and outside. | I had hoped to join the J-Crew from this mornings run but between time constraints, not feeling 100% this week and the 3-7 inches of snow on the ground got up an hour earlier and just did a solo Avenues, Temple, and A&W Loop. The snow looked so nice and the footing was not that bad. Overall a good run. Then 1/2 hour of upper body for shoveling, joys of a corner lot is that there is lots of sidewalk. After that moved to decorating a gingerbread house with the family and the rest of the day is family fun... Mi 12 Avg. 8:27 HR 141
