| On my first visit to Eugene, OR. It is great getting to be at the track center of America. In predicted OR fashion it was drizzling on and off the entire day but during the run it felt good. I did the 6 mi of Pre's Trail and then ran over to the track on jumped on for a mile. The forth lap I could hear the bell. Each lap it rained a little harder and I kid you not when I was done the clouds broke and there was a rainbow. The rain started again during my cool down back to the hotel but really a cool experience. Trail and cooldown: Avg. 6:58 HR 150 Track time: 5:20 HR 184

| Very long day. Out the other direction on the trails along the river. Was in talks from 7:45am until 4:30pm out for the run and then more discussions until 8pm. It was a good day and another good run. Avg. 7:13 HR 145

AM: Up before my alarm so I went for a run. Half loop of Pre's trail, dark and rainy but not that cold. Mi 4 Avg. 8:37 HR 134 PM: No second run. My meetings ran over by nearly an hour.

AM: Nice being in the different time zone going west. Got up feeling rested but still at 6am local. Did a nice long run out and back on each side of the Willamette river and then the 200 ft climb up to Pre's Rock and one last loop past (but not on this time) Hayward Field. Temps were perfect and no rain this morning. Good run. Now a couple hours to decompress and back to Utah... Mi 13.5 Avg. 8:26 HR 129

| Wow this week really hammered me. The unfinished workload from the week before, the travel and meetings, and then family visiting. The good news is I got a good amount done yesterday and will be able to take the weekend off. Up early to get my run in and not mess with family plans. Did a downtown loop.
