| Just wanted sleep again. Did not have a restful night. The day went fine but did not feel productive. Did an acceleration run on the treadmill to avoid the heat and push it a little harder.

| Treadmill run again. Slept slightly better last night but had a so-so afternoon. Mainly wanted to do the treadmill run to get to a light workout. I'm going to try and focus on whole body health a little more this month.

| Still up before alarm. Yesterday turned out to be productive but long, full 12 hr day... This morning was ok. Saw a lot of people running in the neighborhood (11). Probably all try to beat the heat although there is no beating the humidity. Nice sweat going even on this slow run.

| Well the insanity continues. Up early and I worked ~15 hr today only taking time to eat and this run. Since I was writing from home I didn't even have commute time. I did get to run with my wife at least which as the only real break of the day. Did not finish but got a big chunk done.

| Ouch, ouch. Two tough nights in a row. Storm woke me up three times and I still had to be in early again. Things went well, just tired. Decided to do a treadmill run before the evening session of work. Got a good 14 hr of work in today and still playground time with the girls.

| Finally made it outside for a run. Continued with the strange sleep habits and was up a good 45 min before my alarm. Which was good because even with the pre-5AM start it was hot and humid out. A number of other people were thinking the same thing and even before 5:15AM I'd already seen over a dozen other runners.

| Up early and just went for it. Got in two hours of work and a run before the rest of the family was awake. One good way to be productive. I had some fun with my run this morning. One of my neighors was at the 2 mi mark headed toward the house, so I decided I'd try and catch her on my way back. I contined on to the 2.5 mi turnaround so by the time I got back to the 2 mi mark she had a mile head start on me. I managed to just barely accomplish my goal catching her one block before the finish. It was good actually pushing the pace again.

| Got up early and ran with a neighbor friend from church. Met up with him at just passed a mile and then ran about 2.5 with him before finishing off home alone. It was good to have some company and discussion. Also, saw a deer on that last solo mile.

| I am just destroyed this week. Had a great day in lab and got good news and stuff done. Just way to much replacing what I get completed. I ended up working a total of 15 hr today. Only did one mile on the treadmill to get the blood flowing and wake up.

| The joys about not being able to sleep is that your see interesting things on your runs. It was very humid out because of the storms yesterday. I could see my breath and the fog was great over the hills. I ended up seeing three deer, two armadillos, and an opossum. The last stood there while I walked up to and just checked it out. Surprisingly I did not see a single other runner. Although I was up early even for me.
