AM: It was nice this morning. It looks like today is going to be painful though with a potential record high. Did a south extension to the other side of SugarHouse on the A&W commute.

8 mi Avg. 8:34 HR 145 (HR was off, first mile it was reading in the 180s, I think static)

PM: Reverse commute run plus, in near 100F weather. Took it easy and did a "nose run".

Whew... pushing 100 degrees again. I haven't done any faster morning running in a while - all my faster efforts have been in the PM when its 95 degrees out! I have a feeling its going to feel a bit easier when its 50-60 in the afternoons :-)

Static? Your monitor must have gotten tired and started transmitting an analog instead of a digital signal:)

Sorry, I couldn't resist..

Jake, Cool will be much better.

Steve, Good to hear from you. I hope everything is going well. Sorry about the hamstring. Still seems like you are getting in ok training though. I hope that life is treating you well and that I run into you sometime soon.

Thanks Adam,

As well as could be. It comes and goes but is now mostly just stiff sometimes so it's making good progress. Hopefully in time for a fall marathon.

My fingers are crossed for you. It has been too long. It seems like so many people are coming back. I noticed Chad is back on the blog this month and Michelle is back in town. I'm running again. It seems like this is the year for come backs. Plus with Jake, Andrea and the "new crew" the blog feels more like it did back in 2009 to me. Or maybe it is just because I'm feeling better, who knows...
