Same run as yesterday but went a couple bridges further west before turning around. I also took it a bit slower. I'd turned the last few days into bit of races.

I like running along the river in Boston. Always lots of people out, and its hard to just go slow. Good running this week!

The other nice thing is I run inland and then back out to sea so it is really hard to keep any control during the end of the run.

Also, and don't get me wrong I love the wilderness, but there is something so vitalizing about being in the mix of a big city. So much life around yet you can feel completely isolated and enjoy it.

I did a bunch of people watching last night. Today I unfortunately had to get some work done during our meeting downtime but the fact that even before 6am you can see dozens if not hundreds of other people out running sure lights a fire...

The energy there is probably even higher than normal w/ the marathon only a month away now - people ramping it up!

Yesterday I ran a little later than this morning and there were definitely groups you could tell were there for marathon prep. It is funny the number of people you see wearing the marathon garb. I know it is the home town but it seemed like everyone was "showing their colors" so to speak.
